Eva (foamed ethylvinylacetate) is a new material that
has excellent impact strength, resistant to any damage
caused by wear and weather.
Thanks to these special features, this closed-cell
plastic material is
Used to manufacture products that do not soak up the
water even when they are broken, with extremely high
mechanical resistance, six times that of foamed polyurethane,
on the same level with purest latex.
Even after continuous and repeated pressure, deformation
or squashing,
There is no permanent change to its shape and it rapidly
returns to its original structure.
The high elasticity level means that the impact is
spread all over the
surface and not limited to the directly hit part.
The material can be washed in water up to a temperature
of 65°C, using any sort of detergent. It does not
cause skin intolerance, and is easy to dispose of because
it is non-toxic and biocompatible.
Any slight surface alterations are due to the material
expanding, but do not change the technical features.
Eva's specific weight is very low, around one sixth
of water making it ideal for use in boat fenders wharf
fenders (dock fenders) and piling fenders.
