Thanks to the amazing properties of ethylvinylacetate, the EVA Mooring Pile Fender has a very soft surface, yet is highly resistant to the impact with the boat. With its special shape the EVA Pile Fender can be wrapped* around the pile mooring, adhering perfectly to the pile without moving around. Even after continuous and repeated pressure, deformation or squashing, there is no permanent change to EVA’s shape and it rapidly returns to its original shape.

*It is intended that the EVA Pile Fender be bolted to the pile with appropriate commercially available bolts, or attached with commercially available nylon straps. The straps are available separately on this website.

Note that slight irregularities or imperfections in the surface of the EVA fender may occur in expansion of the material during the manufacturing process. These have no effect on the technical properties and performance of the fender.
